I think what bothers me the most is that fresh air is free, but still requires ilok. Sorry, just can't take that chance of not being able to access my projects in their entirety without the web. So about 30 minutes ago my machines are clean of any ilok junk and associated plugins. Oh cool, my fresh air plugins won't load with a net connection. Our powers been weird so the net was still booting back up. It's sobering at times, but I research a lot too and it never fails to pay off in the songs moving forward.īoy I loved loading up a project the other day that has fresh air in it.

I find myself looking at how studios mix/master/track and record, all of it, and realize where my process could be more informed without losing all of my routine in the process. So is all that paid off hard work due to the DAW research you did? Were you looking for what the studio-standard DAW techniques were or going based solely off of how you wanted to adjust your workflow as an individual? Sounds like you've got a good setup for yourself now, which is all that matters. Maybe that will change too LOL.I see I see. I'm still doing the scratch "mastering" in Audacity as we still plan on having the songs mastered elsewhere. So behind ProTools (yuck) Reaper seems to be the most used in real studios so here I am. At that point I usually give up and stick with Audacity, but that wasn't an option here. Then it evolved that maybe I'll be doing the mixes and for the nth time in the last few years I looked at all the DAWs until I went blind LOL. I wanted to do some better scratch mixes than I could on the L-20 so I used Audacity as I've used it quite a bit. It started out that I was only going to track, hence the L-20.
